Blessings come in all shapes, sizes, and forms. One of our very first blessings showed up in the form of a previous student of mine who put me in touch with her mother who had been living with MG for many years. How wonderful it was to hear first hand what to expect, get advice on what steps we should take, and simply to know that Gary was not alone.
This angel sent Gary a book titled “COPING WITH MYASTHENIA GRAVIS”. Reading this book gave Gary a better understanding of what to expect as it is full of stories from other MG patients who have been living with this disease for many years. Gary said it was very eye opening and kind, and made him realize that comparatively speaking to what other people go through, he is a blessed man.
