The Little Engine That Could

That’s my guy! Nothing stops him. Does he get upset at his situation? Of course he does! The emotional aspect has really been hitting him lately. Making simple decisions, something the average person does every day, has become difficult for him. Today he had to cancel a trip to the races as he realized his body wouldn’t cooperate right now…a very disappointing decision. He is so tired of sitting while others do the work…that goes against his nature, and he hates how it affects those around him. He is accustomed to seeing what needs to be done and simply doing it without hesitation. He wants to participate and be a contributing person. Unfortunately his muscles do not allow that.

His Elmer Fudd voice continues to appear; however, he has learned that all he needs to do is stop and rest and it disappears for a bit. Yesterday was a rough day for him with being tired, eyes not staying open and watering, and his breathing more difficult than usual. He took an afternoon nap as sleep and rest are critical for MG patients. He woke this morning feeling like he had more energy and has been busy working in his home office all day. πŸ™‚

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of his new “wheels” and look forward to taking them out for a test drive. Watch out as I’m sure smoke will be trailing behind him as he zooms around! Ha!

I’m so very proud of him. Our boys grew up with him telling them “No Fear”…I do believe he is living that every day. β™₯β™₯β™₯

Busy day working at his home office.
